supercharger on Acura RSX w/ auto trans. w/ sport shift?
does anyone know if it would be a good idea to install a supercharger on an acura rsx base model with an automatic transmission w/ sport shift? or if a turbocharger would be as good or a worse idea. if anyone knows a good place to buy either of these please help me out with that as well, thanks.
it would be a bad idea to supercharge or turbo a base model automatic without building the motor and trans. Anyways, a turbo would probably be best for your car and I suggest a Greddy turbo kit off somewhere like clubrsx.com and only push low boost. Stock automatic transes aren't made to hold a ton of power. You are also going to need a new ecu, I would suggest hondata kpro. And depending on your mechanic skill I would also suggest finding someone to install the turbo or supercharger that knows what they're doing. Hope this helps.
