What kind of gear oil/transmission fluid would a manual transmission in a 2000 mustang 3.8L take?

It takes automatic tranny fluid called Mercon/Dexron 5 which is a ford and GM fluid there are no difference in the two. Yeah I know it sounds crazy for a manual but ford started using that around 94 or 95 in ALL of the manual mustangs. Ive had 7 mustangs and I have a 2001 Cobra now. Do not use 90W gear oil.....
