C6 Ford Tranny Band Adjustment?

I bought a C6 Ford transmission rebuilt kit. I removed the tranny without no problems from the Van. Club Wagon and replaced almost everything in the kit what I felt needed. It was a fun experienece and will do it again, but on a Chevy 4L60 next.
Question: On the C6, there is a side adjustment nut and bolt for band adjustment. How tight or loss should I make the turns for proper band adjustsment. What reaction should I get when placing the shifter in either Drive or Reverse for proper adjustment.

That is for the intermediate band, used for second gear. Loosen the lock nut and back it off enough to tighten the adjusting screw to 10 lb/ft, then back out the screw 1.5 turns. while holding the adjustment screw, tighten the lock nut to 35 lb/ft. Make sure the adjustment screw does not move while torquing the lock nut.
