I realize that the high detergent new tran fluid will wash away some clutch material that allows a high mileage transmission to work properly. And, it is common for a fluid/filter change to upset this balance and cause it to slip. If I had problems with the torque converter, pump, servos, solenoids, epc, valve body, gaskets or seals.....I would have had problems prior to the new fluid. Is it logical to assume that if everything was working OK before the new fluid that new clutch packs and bands will likely fix the problem?
I am using the OEM recommended fluid and it is at the proper level when engine is running.
